World of Warcraft

Sorry for the lack of updates friends, but this game has consumed my life.

For those of you who have no idea what a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG is, well...it's like crack in videogame form.

So lately instead of wasting my time in the real world, which somehow manages to combine both chaos and mundanity into one undesirable whole, I've been adventuring with friends in the magnificent lands of Kalimdor and Azeroth as a level 33 Night Elf druid.

I've played a LOT of games in my life, and I have to say that this is one of the finest specimens that the industry has to offer. The sheer size and scope of this game is simply staggering. I can only imagine the amount of work that has gone into creating this game ( and the amount of work still going into it...Blizzard's dedicated team maintains and improves the game 24/7 ).

MMO's, despite being one of the most intriguing and addictive videogame genres, typically have quite a few aggravating features that detract from the gameplay. World of Warcraft takes every MMO pitfall and improves upon it or eliminates it completely, making for a game that spares you the wasted hours of frustration of other MMOs and really brings the fun factor to the forefront. After all, that IS what we're playing videogames for, isn't it?

My last MMO was the incredibly over-hyped Final Fantasy XI, which is like tapioca pudding compared to World of Warcraft's New York steak with a finely dressed baked potato...and caesar salad...and garlic bread.

That being said, updates are gonna be a little slow here at the House of Smoke and Mirrors.
Bear with me, for I have an insatiable addiction that I must satisfy for at least 5 hours daily ( and thats undercutting a whole lot ). I'm by no means abandoning the site. So...yeah!
Stop wasting time at FFXI and by World of Warcraft already. And get on the Shadow Moon server. And get in my guild!

I'll be posting pictures of my druid soon so you can all agree that he is the sexiest man the virtual world has ever seen.
