Concept art for my books. The figures pictured are prominent characters. I originally intended to color this with detail but I liked the idea of having them as shadows, just as the poem says. I plan on eventually adding the (full) poem to the finished product and perhaps a background. Turned out alright though, for a random flash of inspiration at 2 in the morning. I especially like the atmosphere that the leaves give, and I wish I had drawn more of them.

P.S. Despite what you may think, this isn't Cloud and Red XIII from FF7. Cloud isn't an elf, his sword is much bigger, he doesn't wear a cape, and his hair is really crazy. Red XIII is much bigger and has feathers and stuff on his head. SOME GAMER YOU ARE!
